Wasps' Nest

Morialta Falls

As I was heading back down the gorge, I started to hear quite a loud buzz and realised that I was almost on top of a wasps' nest. Once I figured out where it was, I moved away a bit and swapped over to my 300mm lens to take a few shots.

This picture has been touched up a bit, as there wasn't a lot of light down on the valley floor (the sun had already moved behind the hill above me) and shooting a long lens on fast shutters means that the original image was quite dark. All I have done in this case is enhance the highlights so the details are clearer.
