Great Links Tor is the highest point around, and it's broken spine of rocky outcroppings were about the only obvious feature for navigation.
The strong light of the sun in the eastern sky behind the tor made for a superb silhouette - although the result was not exactly what I had intended, I think this show how sometimes photography just comes down to luck.
