Most of the walk I'd been using my 70mm lens, but when I saw these two Rosellas sitting on the fence I wanted to change to my 300mm lens. I nervously and quietly unzipped my bag, and slowly exchanged the lenses, ever mindful of the fact that Adam's dog was running amok somewhere nearby and apt to launch out and bark at any moment.
Thankfully, I got set up and managed a dozen or so shots before these two birds flew off.
