Information:Australians love their cars, so it isn't too surprising to find that there are a large number of car enthusiast clubs around the country. There are a lot of events where the owners of vintage and classic cars can get together, see each other's cars and display them to the public. And there is quite a variety - Australia has been a fairly major market for both European and American cars over, as well as having its own car manufacturing industry. So, I spent a day in the wine-fields of the McLaren Vale, soaking up the smell of engine oil, car wax, and leather seats. And, of course, taking pictures. |
