Information:Morialta Gorge is one of the deep cuts in the Adelaide Hills which borders the city. It's a great location for a walk, with a range of moderate to strenuous walks which take in some spectacular views. There's also some abseiling and climbing to be had (although I didn't get that far along, although I plan to next time). Winter is a good time to walk, as the valley is sheltered and cool, and rains add flow to the creek and its falls (there are three along the gorge). |
